Unexpected Changes: My Dad’s Recent Fall and Hospital Visit

Today at 3 PM, I received a call from the nursing home. In that moment, I was hoping for good news or positive updates. However, what I heard was quite different. My dad had fallen out of his wheelchair. It was a sad and unexpected turn of events. I had assumed they were taking good care of him, but this incident raised concerns not only for me but also for my mother. My dad was taken to the hospital, back to Lutheran. Initially, we thought he might need surgery, but surprisingly, he only stayed one night but nurse didn’t know if needed more time hospital.  The situation remains uncertain, and we’ll continue to share updates as we navigate this new chapter in his recovery journey.
