Steadfast Hope: Dad’s Journey from Bed to Wheelchair

It’s been ten days since my last update, and I’m filled with a mix of emotions as I share our latest milestone. After a long struggle, my dad has finally risen from his bed. With determination, he’s learning to navigate life in a wheelchair, a significant step towards regaining his mobility.

This progress was my deepest hope—not just for him to escape the confines of his bed but to reclaim a sense of independence. Yet, I been facing new challenges. My father cannot resists being fed, struggling with meals that lack the necessary ingredients to meet his dietary needs. Proper nutrition is essential for his recovery, and this hurdle could delay his return home, possibly extending beyond the months I hoped for. Despite these difficulties, I find solace in his survival. His life is a gift that continues to inspire me, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.
