Main Event

580 E 144th Ave, Thornton, CO 80023

I’ve enjoyed bowling in the past a couple years ago I wrote about my first time at Chipper’s Lanes and Flatiron Crossing.

If you haven’t read it yet. I encourage to read previous experiences 2025 2024 in blog bowling.

Today was different.

Today was my first time ever going to Main Event and honestly, it’s nothing like the other places I’ve been. I wasn’t expecting the energy, the lights, the games, the people, or the whole atmosphere. It felt bigger and more exciting.

And the best part?

I played laser tag and I actually beat someone.

My laser name was Napalm. The laser tag I beat 2250.

I knew I would enjoy it this much, but really it's more fun as a group wish I'm still missing.

⭐ What Stood Out to Me

- The laser tag arena was fun and intense

- The whole place felt alive

- People were friendly and having a good time

- It made me want to try more activities

It made me want to come back again.

🫶 For Men and Women Who Have Been to Main Event (First Time or Many Times)

I’m sharing this the same way I would talk to someone in person.

If you’ve been to Main Event before:

- What do you recommend I try next time

- How do you explore a place when it’s your first time

- What helped you feel comfortable trying new activities

If you’re new to Main Event:

- What helped you feel comfortable your first time

And something I’m still learning:

- Can men and women be friends while visiting places like this

šŸ“± Asking for Instagram Help

Sometimes I need temporary help with Instagram not all the time, just when I’m trying to grow my page for a good cause and community involvement.

If someone is with me during the day:

- How can I ask for Instagram help respectfully

- How can friends help if they aren’t on Instagram

I want to learn how to ask without making anyone feel pressured.

šŸ’¬ Easy Questions You Can Answer by Text

You can text me at 720‑461‑5891:

- Have you been to Main Event

- What should I try next time I go

- Are you on Instagram

- How do you ask friends for temporary help

šŸ“ Why I Ask for Texts Instead of Comments

Because I have my neurologist accommodation, texting is safer for me than reading long comment sections.

- stay focused

- not lose track of conversations

- remember who I’m talking to

It’s not about privacy it’s about communication that works better for me.

šŸŽ® Looking to Join a Group

I’m trying to be more social and more engaged with others. I’m also looking for a group that goes to outings like this Saturday outings, evening outings, weekday outings not just people my age, but mixed ages, including disability organizations or day programs.

Some people aren’t sure how to suggest groups, so I’m still looking.

If you’ve been to Main Event or know a group goes here, I’d happy to hear from you.

Feel free to contact me directly.
