✨ Not Ashamed of the Gospel: What I Known Today in Church

Today in church, the message came from Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.”
Hearing this today felt like something I knew inside me. Today it felt like God was speaking directly to me, reminding me who I am and who I belong to.
I walked into church carrying my usual thoughts, worries, and questions. But I walked out with something simple and strong:
I am a child of God, and His Gospel gives me strength.
🌿 What This Verse Taught Me Today
- The Gospel is not something to hide.
- God’s power is not small or distant it is alive.
- Salvation is for everyone who believes, including me.
- Being a child of God means I don’t have to be afraid of what people think.
Sometimes I forget that faith is not about being perfect. It’s about believing, trusting, and letting God work in me. Today reminded me that God’s power is bigger than my doubts.
🦋 Growing in Faith
The church theme today focused on transformation. Not the kind that happens instantly, but the kind that grows slowly like a butterfly forming its wings.
Transformation means:
- letting God shape my heart
- letting Him guide my steps
- letting Him teach me how to live boldly, not quietly hiding my faith
Today I felt that gentle push:
Don’t be ashamed. Don’t be silent. Live as a child of God.
👋 To My Brothers and Sisters Reading This
I’m writing this the same way I would talk to someone after service calm, honest, and respectful.
Don’t hesitate to tell me your thoughts.
I’m happy to hear from you, whether you know me well or not.
📩 Questions You Can Answer by Text Message
If you want to respond, you can text me your thoughts.
Here are the questions I’m thinking about today:
- What does Romans 1:16 mean to you personally?
- When did you first feel unashamed of your faith?
- How do you stay strong as a believer in everyday life?
- What helps you remember that you are a child of God?
You can answer one or all whatever you feel comfortable with.
💬 Final Thought
Today’s message reminded me that being a child of God is not something I hide — it’s something I live. The Gospel gives me strength, courage, and identity. And I’m grateful for that.
If something in this touched you, or if you want to share your own experience, send me a text message. I’d happy to hear what God is teaching you too.
