Low & Loud Block Party Denver, Colorado.

Today was my very first time visiting a block party hosted by the Denver Foos 303 community. I’ve been to many block parties before, but this one had a different energy louder cars, louder music, louder community. It felt alive.

Even though the event was hosted at The Center on South Broadway, not directly by Denver Foos 303, I still want to say thank you to everyone who made it happen. The cars, the music, the people, the vendors everything felt like a celebration of Denver culture nostalgic.

I’m also hoping that by asking up, supporting, and being part of the environment, I can eventually participate more maybe help the community, maybe get invited to sport games, maybe even join festival events. Usually friends invite each other, and I hope someday I can be part of that circle too.

⭐ What Stood Out to Me

- The cars were clean, loud, and full of personality

- The music brought everyone together

- People were friendly and relaxed

- The block party had a mix of ages and styles

- It felt like a real community space as back 1996s

It made me want to come back again.

🫶 For Men and Women Who Have Been to Block Parties (New or Experienced)

I’m sharing this the same way I would talk to someone in person.

If you’ve been to block parties before:

- What do you recommend I try next time besides just saying hi or waving

- How do you ask for help when you’re shy

- What part of block parties did you saw

And something I’m still learning:

- Can men and women be friends while visiting events like this do I need a life coach

šŸ“± Asking for Instagram Help

Sometimes I need temporary help with Instagram not all the time, just when I’m trying to grow my page for a good cause and community involvement.

If someone is with me during the day:

- How can I ask for Instagram help respectfully

- How can friends help if they aren’t on Instagram

I want to learn how to ask without making anyone feel pressured.

šŸ’¬ Easy Questions You Can Answer by Text

You can text me at 720‑461‑5891.

These are simple and easy to reply to:

- Have you been to a Denver Foos 303 event if so how can all friends from Denver foos 303 get be invited to a sport game event

- What should I try next time I go

- Are you on Instagram

- How do you ask friends for small help

šŸ“ Why I Ask for Texts Instead of Comments

Because of my learning disabilities and memory challenges, texting is easier for me than reading long comment sections. Text messages is my communication accomodation:

- stay focused

- not lose track of conversations

- remember who I’m talking to

It’s not about privacy it’s about communication that works better for me.

šŸš— Looking Forward to Coming Back

I want to return to more block parties and community events. I’m trying to be social, engaged, and connected with others.

I’m also looking for a group to join not just people my age, but a group from The Center, artists, or day programs that go on outings like this. I’ve asked around, but some people aren’t sure how to suggest it.

If you’ve been to block parties, I’d be happy to listen to of all you.

Feel free to contact me directly any suggestions helps.

What should I try next time I visit?
