Today was my second time visiting the museum overall, but my first time ever seeing the LEGO exhibit inside. Iāve been here before (my previous blog was from May 16, 2023), but this part of the museum was completely new to me.

Walking in, I didnāt expect the LEGO sculptures to be so detailed. The butterfly, the polar bears, the dragonfly that's our day program everything looked so real even though it was made from bricks. It felt like art, science, and childhood all mixed together. I enjoyed just standing there and taking it all in.
ā What Stood Out to Me
- The LEGO butterfly looked almost alive
- The polar bear sculpture was huge and detailed
- The dragonfly had bright colors and amazing wings and because this dragon fly looks exactly of our dragon fly day program
- Kids and adults were both enjoying the exhibit
- It reminded me that creativity has no age limit
Even though it was my first time in this section, it made the museum feel brand new again.
š«¶ To Anyone Who Has Been to the Nature & Science Museum
Iām sharing this the same way I would talk to someone in person relaxed, honest, and comfortable.
If youāve been here before (men or women):
- What do you recommend I try next time besides just saying hi or waving?
- What helped you feel comfortable asking for help when you were shy?
And something Iām still learning:
- Can men and women be friends in a safe, respectful way?
š± Asking for Instagram Help
Sometimes I need temporary help with Instagram not all the time, just when Iām trying to grow my page for a good cause.
If someone is with me during the day, how can I ask for help in a friendly, appropriate way?
I want to learn how to ask without making anyone feel pressured.
š¬ Easy Questions You Can Answer by Text
You can text me at 720ā461ā5891 :
- What should I try next time at the museum?
- Which LEGO sculpture was your favorite?
- Do you like nature exhibits or art exhibits more?
- How do you ask friends for small help without feeling shy?
- Is anyone here on Instagram? If not how can friends help?
š Why I Ask for Texts Instead of Comments
Because of my learning disabilities and memory challenges, texting is easier for me than reading long comment sections. Text messages help me:
- stay focused
- not lose track of conversations
- remember who Iām talking to
- respond clearly
Itās not about privacy itās about communication that works better for me.
š§© Looking to Visit Again
I definitely want to come back and explore more. Iām trying to be more social, meet more people, and enjoy more places in the community.
If youāve been to the museum, Iād hap
py to hear your experience.
