Today was a big day for me my first rodeo event and my first time ever riding a horse. Iāve never been on a horse in my life, but today I finally did it. I thought it would be hard, but once I got on and started learning, it felt more natural than I expected. Kind of like when I first learned how to drive a real vehicle scary at first, but then it starts to make sense.
Iām honestly impressed with myself. I didnāt think Iād enjoy it this much, but I did. The horse was calm, patient, and powerful. I felt connected to the moment. It made me want to keep learning, keep practicing, and keep showing up.
The arena, the people, the horses everything felt new but welcoming. Iām glad I tried it.
I had very much fun. The most I like it's the horse. Still wanting continuing learning. I could use some advices about horses either you're cowgirl or cowboy feel free share me.

ā What Stood Out to Me
- The horse was gentle and steady
- The instructors were patient
- The arena felt safe and organized
- Everyone had a cowboy or cowgirl vibe
- I learned more in one day than I expected
It made me want to come back again.
š«¶ To Anyone Who Has Been to a Rodeo (Men or Women)
Iām sharing this the same way I would talk to someone in person.
If youāve been here before or youāre new like me:
- What do you recommend I try next time besides just saying hi or waving?
- What helped you feel confident when you were learning?
- How do you ask for help when youāre shy or unsure ?
And something Iām still learning:
- Can men and women be friends in a safe, respectful way during or after events like this?
š± Asking for Instagram Help
Sometimes we all need temporary help with Instagram not all the time, just when we are trying to grow our page for a good cause.
If someone is with me during the day, how can I ask Instagram help from friends , appropriate way?
I want to learn how to ask without making anyone feel pressured.
If someone isnāt a social media person, can friends still help each other in other ways?
š¬ Easy Questions You Can Answer by Text
You can text me at 720ā461ā5891.
These questions are simple and easy to reply to:
- Have you ever been to a rodeo?
- What should I try next time I talk ?
- What helped you when you first learned to ride ?
- How do you ask friends for small help without feeling pressured ?
- Are you on Instagram ?
š Why I Ask for Texts Instead of Comments
Because of my learning disabilities and memory challenges, texting is easier for me than reading long comment sections. Text messages is my communication accomodation:
- stay focused
- not lose track of conversations
- remember who Iām talking to
- respond clearly
Itās not about privacy itās about communication that accommodated me.
