Dinosaur Ridge Main Visitor Center — 16831 W Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO 80465

Today was my first time ever visiting Dinosaur Ridge. I honestly had no idea dinosaurs existed in Colorado. Seeing the fossils, the skulls, the bones, and the life‑size models made me feel like I stepped into another world. It was surprising, interesting, and honestly kind of exciting to learn something new about the place I live.

Walking through the exhibits made me feel like a kid again curious, amazed, and wanting to explore more. Even the outdoor areas with the hills and open space felt peaceful. It was a good day to learn something new.

⭐ What Stood Out to Me

- The dinosaur skulls looked huge up close

- The Triceratops horn was interesting to see in real life

- The T‑rex teeth were bigger than I expected

- The sauropod model showed how massive these animals were

- Colorado has more history than I realized

It made me appreciate how much science and discovery is right here in our state.

🫶 To Anyone Who Has Been to Dinosaur Ridge

I’m sharing this the same way I would talk to someone in person relaxed, honest, and friendly.

If you’ve been here before (men or women):

- What do you recommend I try next time besides just saying hi or waving?

- Is there a trail, tour, or activity I should check out?

- If you haven’t been, what would you suggest I explore next time?

And something I’m still learning:

- Can men and women be friends in a safe, respectful way?

šŸ“± Asking for Instagram Help

Sometimes I need temporary help with Instagram not all the time, just when I’m trying to grow my page for a good cause.

If someone is with me during the day, how can I ask for help in a friendly, appropriate way?

I want to learn how to ask without making anyone feel pressured.

šŸ’¬ Easy Questions You Can Answer by Text

You can text me at 720‑461‑5891.

These questions are simple and easy to reply to:

- Have you ever been to Dinosaur Ridge?

- What was your favorite part?

- What should I try next time I go?

- How do you ask friends for small help without feeling shy?

- Is anyone here on Instagram? If not how can friends help out ?

šŸ“ Why I Ask for Texts Instead of Comments

Because of my learning disabilities and memory challenges, texting is easier for me than reading long comment sections. Text messages help me:

- stay focused

- not lose track of conversations

- remember who I’m talking to

- respond clearly

It’s not about privacy it’s about communication that works better for me.

🦓 Looking to Visit Again

I definitely want to come back. I’m trying to be more social, meet more people, and maybe even find a group outing I can join.

If you’ve been to Dinosaur Ridge, I’d love to hear your experience.

Feel free to contact me directly.
