Hey friends,Ā Today I went to Colorado Mills at 14500 W Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO 80401. Itās actually my second time being there, but this was the first time I truly engaged with the space. I didnāt just walk through I slowed down, looked around, and tried to be present.Ā ā š§ What I Noticed As I walked through the mall, I saw families laughing, friends sharing snacks, people helping each other pick out clothes or gifts.
It made me think:Ā
How does a simple outing like this help build friendship and trust?Ā
Itās not just about shopping. Itās about showing up, spending time, and letting those moments create connection.Ā
ā
šÆ Still New at This⦠Got Any Advices?
Even though Iāve been here before, I still feel like a beginner. Iām not always sure how to start conversations, how to join in, or how to feel confident in public spaces like this.Ā
For both man and women :
So Iām asking in respectful manner:Ā Q: What do you recommend for newbies like me?
All my life I havenāt had much success yet,Ā Iād be really thankful if someone was willing to share suggestions or encouragement.Ā š± You can text me at 720-461-5891Ā Iād love to hear more from you especially if youāve ever felt the same way. Even a simple āyou got thisā would mean a lot.Ā ā š¬ Questions Iām Thinking About: ā What makes a mall outing feel safe and welcoming for everyone?Ā ā How do you invite someone conversation to join without making them feel pressured?Ā ā What helps you feel included in a group when youāre out in public?Ā ā Whatās your favorite memory from a mall visit?Ā ā Do you think places like Colorado Mills can be spaces for healing, connection, and growth? ā Thanks for reading. I am really trying learning, stepping out of my comfort zone, and hoping to connect with others who value kindness, community, and shared experiences.Ā
My First Visit to the Forney Museum: A Journey Through Time and Wonder šš
Today I had the chance to visit the Forney Museum of Transportation for the very first time. Itās located at 4303 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO 80216, and honestly⦠I didnāt expect to be so moved.Ā I walked in thinking Iād just see a few old cars. But what I found was something much deeper: a celebration of history, craftsmanship, and even holiday spirit.Ā ā š What I Saw From classic hot rods to vintage Chevrolets with wooden panels, every vehicle had a story. I stood in front of a 1930 Chevrolet depot hack, learning how it once carried people and luggage from train stations to hotels.
I saw a 1915 Ford Model T dressed in Christmas decorations, reminding me how far weāve come and how much joy can be found in honoring the past.Ā There were sleighs, snow-covered trees, and even a horse harnessed in front of a winter backdrop. It felt like stepping into a living postcard.Ā

š What I Felt I didnāt just admire the cars I felt something.Ā ā Nostalgia, even for eras I never lived in.Ā ā Gratitude for the people who preserve these stories.Ā ā A sense of wonder, like a child seeing something magical for the first time.Ā It reminded me that transportation isnāt just about getting somewhereāitās about the journey, the memories, and the people we share it with.Ā
š¬ Questions for both man and women insights purposes only or your choice: ā Have you ever visited a museum that made you feel holiday emotional?Ā ā Whatās your favorite vintage vehicle or holiday memory?Ā ā Do you think places like this help us connect with our past and with each other?Ā ā How do you celebrate the holidays in ways that honor tradition and creativity?Ā ā What would you recommend I look for next time I visit here? š± You can text me at 720-461-5891Ā Iād love to hear more from any of you out here, or even just a āHey, Iāve been there too!āĀ
